Without biodata resources, there is no advance in the life and biomedical sciences. In its 2033 selection, @globalbiodata has announced a further 15 Global Core Biodata Resources, bringing the set up to 52, collectively serving a breadth of domains, data types & user communities.
We’re pleased to announce an additional 15 Global Core Biodata Resources that today join the existing 37, forming an important focus of the GBC’s work with global life science funders towards long-term sustainability.

Delighted we have launched the new Pathogens Portal #pathogensportal, extending beyond COVID-19 to broader disease and pathogens - bringing together data of relevance to infection biology for research and preparedness.
🚨Molecular data for over 200,000 pathogen species and strains are now available in our new Pathogens Portal, launched today.
An indispensable resource for healthcare research, global pandemic surveillance, and food security.

Guy Cochrane who directs @ENASequence mentioned a dataset arrives every few seconds. That's data richness from sequencing. One can search @NCBI @ENASequence and DDBJ, which are mirrored. And one can search those with controlled access
