I know the Trump administration isn't serious, but I have a harder time finding Democrats who actively resist the Trump Administration.
Opposition to regulating landlords or overhauling a bloated police budget usually turns into a one-way ticket to help elect Republicans up the state ballot. There are some Democrats who spend more time bitching about Hasan Piker and less time concerned with a potential Republican administration that would pardon Derrick Chauvin.
Minneapolis isn't the only place where this happens. But there are power brokers in some state Democratic parties who have professional relationships with those supporting local candidates opposed to rental regulation ect. ect. ect. What they don't warn you about: donors that support candidates opposed to police reformer, rental regulations ect.... are the same donors that will help unseat a state attorney geneal opposed by the Trump administration.

Indeed, this exact allegation has been a Republican talking point for years, so much so that it’s been repeatedly investigated and found meritless. Not sure why Eric didn’t mention those! But that’s hardly the most dishonest thing here. 4/x

The raid and investigation into Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar reeks of a politicized investigation from an agency (HSI) that has used broad supoena powers to target journalists and labor activists. The search warrants that the Justice Department wants sealed are key to understanding what kicked off this politicized investigation.
He ran the We Love Minneapolis which took donations from Republican donors in the 2025 Minneapolis city races. There are a half-dozen We Love Minneapolis donors who threw their money behind Republican AG Candidate Ron Shultz. There's a trend across the country where "moderate" try to unseat local progressives. A year later those same donors are bankrolling Republicans.
Her office filed misdemeanor charges against three people stemming from an alleged assault against Turning Point USA's Savannah Hernandez. Her office also charge a conservative influencer Zak X after he sucker punched a protester with tactical gloves. This local officer doesn't do fishing expeditions. That's the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division for the past two years.
The Hennepin County District Attorney’s Office DID NOT want to respond to my request for comment regarding her criminal charges filed against James O’Keefe and Cam Higby.
Independent journalists have been assaulted in her county throughout the year and the liberal hack refused to prosecute these individuals.
Now she’s going after the journalists for exposing fraud.
Minnesota is rigged with fraud—that’s why they’re attempting to chase independent journalists away.

Democratic attorneys general have been the tip of the spear in the resistance against Trump, but AG elections swing on local and state issues. @davidwchen talks to the most endangered AG, @keithellison, but @KrisKobach1787 in Kansas is also in trouble. nytimes.com/2026/10/26/us/el…

Need to drill down as to why there are dead people still active on the voter rolls.
That part of her press conference really caught my attention.
Back in 2021, the Revolving Door Project advised against appoint Folk to the U.S. Attorney's Office in the aftermath of George Floyd's murder. They argued that civil rights lawyers and public defenders are more equipped at delivery criminal justice reform than big corporate lawyerse.
Folk said that a former prosecutor is the most practical resume to lead the county attorney's office. Folk argued that Fraizer's lack of prosecutorial experience made him unqualified to lead the county attorney's DA Office. Frazier argued that Folk never made that argument about former DAs Amy Klobuchar or Mike Freeman.
spokesman-recorder.com/2026/… During the Hennepin Co. Attorney's Debate Frazier criticized Folk for accepting a job as Assistant U.S. Attorney under Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney Erica MacDonald. Folk was acting U.S. Attorney for eight months when MacDonald stepped down at then-President Biden's request.

Source for the claim where Cedrick Frazier made claim that Folks is a secret republican. I've seen claims on twitter that he has the support of 3rd District Republicans, and endorsed by some republicans. Is there something else? Link? Citation?
