Andromeda got Mass Effect shelved. It was suppose to be a new trilogy. Anthem was a live service game that over promised and under delivered. It was DOA. Well Veilguard, need I same more? Is Dragon Age: The Veilguard a bad game that hurt BioWare’s reputation? Yes. Is Dragon Age: The Veilguard the reason BioWare was shut down? No. Losing BioWare (regardless of what form it was in) is a massive loss for the entire gaming industry.

BioWare has made some of my favorite games. However, the writing was on the wall in 2017. This is not the same company that made Mass Effect, KOTOR, Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights. That company died a long time ago. The brain finally realized the body was dead.
