Median household income reached $88,667 in August, up roughly $2,500 in real terms since President Trump began his second term. So much for the Left’s affordability crisis narrative.

The “billion-dollar taxpayer subsidy” to data centers is largely a myth. Standard sales tax exemptions for business equipment are not corporate handouts. Data centers generate massive local revenue, including $1.3 billion in property taxes funding 40% of Loudoun County’s budget.

Real median household income barely increased under Biden. In President Trump’s first 14 months, it rose by $2,800 after inflation. Even after the spike in oil prices, Americans are still up roughly $2,000. When oil falls below $70 a barrel, incomes will start rising rapidly again.

Americans are voting with their feet against Big Labor. From 2020 to 2025, lightly unionized states gained 3.5 million Americans, while heavily unionized states lost nearly 3.9 million. Workers are moving where jobs are growing, and it is not in union-dominated states.
