🍩 Dohnut v4.5.0 released! hub.docker.com/r/commonshost… ✨ New: TLS session resumption for faster reconnecting to DoH resolvers. This accelerates those first DNS queries after long idle times. Also, less noisy log output. Thanks to @jedisct1 for the inspiration. 🙏🏻

The first experimental Raspberry Pi based CDN edge server just went live near Ottawa, Canada to serve static sites and DNS over HTTPS. #Bulldohzer latency tests indicate this should help regional DSL ISP customers. Thanks @BraydenGirard for the contribution. 🐑❤️🇨🇦

How fast is your DNS provider really? Is DoH slower than plain DNS? Don't blindly trust the marketing stats. Check for yourself, on your network, on your machine.

Meet 🚜 Bulldohzer, the DNS over HTTPS (DoH) benchmarking tool. Added a CLI UI with pretty reporting or NDJSON output. Also a new implementation without the proxy overhead to get even more accurate times. LMK how it goes. $ npx bulldohzer github.com/commonshost/bulld…

Good test. CleanBrowsing got #1 at the 95% and very close to Google / Commons Host on the others.
