Russia calling in bomb threats to polling places in liberal districts across the country should be bigger news right now. They’re interfering for Trump right in the open, right in front of our faces

On last night’s statement highlighting Russian and Iranian influence operations, Conley said Russia and Iran are expected to increase the “scope and scale” of their efforts on Election Day and in the days after, as they take lessons learned from previous elections, “to undermine confidence in the election and stoke partisan discord,” “regardless of who wins.”

ALT "Remember election night results are always unofficial. While the focus on election night is on who won and who lost, those races are called by the media, not election officials. In the days and weeks to come, election officials will count every eligible ballot, including ballots cast in-person on or before Election Day, mail ballots, provisional ballots, and ballots cast by military and overseas voters. Accurately counting millions of ballots takes time and it is important to be patient." - Excerpt from Joint NASED and NASS November 2024 Pre-Election Statement

This thing from Charlie Kirk and others about women needing to vote the way their husbands tell them to vote is absurd and further underscores just how culturally insular and cloistered these guys are from the real world—even the world they claim to speak for.
I’m from a culturally conservative and heavily Christian part of east Texas, and not even the most devout of husbands are going around telling their wives how to vote. This is a bizarre caricature of faith-based families and communities and, frankly, it’s insulting.
The idea that this happens is solely the creation of heavily online right-wing conservabros who, insecure in their own masculinity, traffic in dumb tropes to signal their “toughness” while not being sufficiently adjusted to the behavior of normal people in society.
