Ross Smith has been crowned European Darts Champion for the second time after defeating Germany’s Martin Schindler 11–8 in Sunday’s final in Dortmund.
Smith held on to secure the victory, adding another major title to his career after his first European Championship win in 2022.

A Purseweb Spider has been discovered on Royal St George’s Golf Course by Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory’s Education Officer during a nature walk with teenagers.
The sighting is believed to be the first recorded for this species at Sandwich Bay.
