Home after a tour. Utterly bewildered. Don’t know whether to unpack, burn the fridge contents or sink into the carpet like Trainspotting.
Happiness is a journey, not a destination.
Work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one's watching.

Recent conversation between myself and another stage manager. “How are your lot doing?” “Oh they’re sitting down and reading. And yours?” Good, they’re doing music this morning”. Observer: “are you primary school teachers?” 👨🏼🔧
Apparently I’d make an excellent floor manager for @ITV . I’m currently available in 2025 😂
Second day of the second tech of the second run. Quite a warm day for them to be under the lights with #achorusline @CurveLeicester

Stage managers have warned that tight budgets, skills shortages and burnout are fuelling a mental health crisis, amid claims the working climate is the "toughest" it has ever been.

I do a lot of volunteer work but I can’t help but see this Big Help Out Weekend with an eye of slight suspicion. Can many community based organisations afford not to use large numbers of volunteers nowadays?#costofliving #CostOfLivingCrisis #volunteering
If I’d played the drinking game to See it, Say It, Sort It whilst travelling through London this last 45 minutes, I’d be totally wasted by now #ltr #drinkinggame #publicinformationbroadcasts #toomuch
