Remove that Nigerian parents and put Nigerian elders. Everyone will sit and watch an older person treat you like trash, the best they will do is to advise you the victim to ignore them because they are older. But the minute you voice out or retaliate, the issue automatically stops being about them abusing you but about how you are not well trained because how dare you not continue coddling them?
