18 goals in 26 matches. A wand of a left foot. An ex-Palmeiras academy star shining in Estonia.
Wendell Gabriel (22, 🇧🇷) looks set to follow a familiar path to the top in Europe having shone in the last two seasons.
Guilherme Smith of USG & Promise David of Brighton followed a similar path 👀
📈 Wendell Gabriel (22, 🇧🇷)
Our predictive model projects Wendell Gabriel would perform as a top-30% Championship striker. 📊

Accelerations per 90 vs defensive duels won %
Jackson Tchatchoua is in a corner of his own. High acceleration count and a win rate above 65%.
Tymon, Alebiosu and Hugo Bueno win the duel battle.
Sykes and Bree bring the pace. Filip Lissah is the youngest name in the group.
The balance to this Como team feels like it’s bordering on perfect. Every single one of these players could play at the top without any issue.
Nico Paz will be one of the best in the world, if he isn’t already.

Saving penalties from Kevin De Bruyne this weekend. His stocks are rising.

Filip Stanković (24, 🇷🇸)
The most complete build-up keeper of the group. Highest passing volume, highest accuracy short and long, and his defenders clearly trust him with the ball under pressure. Strong shot-stopping on top.
The caveat is that he stays on his line more than anyone else here. If you want a keeper to start attacks, he’s the profile.
It’s important people push back when clubs suggest things like this - neither player were made in the Wolves academy.
Cardiff showing some strong evidence of this all season, never more than today vs Boro.
A very good team with an excellent coach.

Cardiff, Portsmouth and Birmingham press the most in the Championship so far. All three have a PPDA under 10 and are among the top four for challenge intensity.
Derby are the interesting one. Their PPDA is also under 10, but their challenge intensity is below the league average.
This performance from Rafiki Saïd absolutely inline with my expectations at the start of the season, decision making also looks like it’s improved.
He’ll be a real threat this season.
An interesting one. Rafiki Saïd (26, 🇰🇲) shone for Standard Liege last season.
Not a winger in the traditional sense, a two-footed inside forward who tends to play from the left.
Suits a system built on transitions and quick progression up the pitch - not a good match for a high-possession team.
A player who needs less of the ball to do something with it than your average forward/winger.
