Chapter II: How the Rollin’ 60s Green-Lit 2Pac & Treach. The night popped off with chairs and bottles flying. Faizon Love was there. He said Pac and Treach were whooping people while Eddie Griffin was performing on stage. Smooth B described it as pure chaos: “It was like a scene from the Tazmanian Devil. These motherfuckas aired the joint out back to back.” When he got to them and asked if Pac was good, Pac turned around and said, “Oh yeah, yeah, I’m good Smooth. Get the bitches.” So they cleared out and left. After the Comedy Store brawl, the Rollin’ 60s put a green light on both of Treach and 2Pac. The next day word got out: on sight. Treach confirmed they had been green-lit by the Rollin’ 60s, “it’s a green light is like on sight, people is gonna roll on you and handle business. It’s like a hit.” He says he linked with family in Compton, sat down, and explained they weren’t disrespecting the set, just defending themselves. The green light came off. Other accounts put Pac more directly in the middle of the conflict resolution. Napoleon said word on the street was that if the 60s saw Pac it was on sight, and that Pac went by himself after Treach left. Poppa LQ, who was from the 60s set and knew Pac from Digital Underground days, said he saw him the next day. 2Pac told him Treach had gone back to Jersey and that he was left to deal with it. Poppa LQ said Pac was visibly upset because he felt he was left to handle the situation alone. He clarified that Pac never said Treach ran out on him during the fight itself—just that Treach was gone and he had to deal with the green light. Poppa LQ says he got his people on the phone with Pac and they agreed to meet up. So 2Pac went and got alcohol, some chronic and pulled up to the spot. He posted up with the 60s, hashed it out, and they respected him for coming by himself. That’s the aftermath: a green light after the Comedy Store brawl, and Pac handling the fallout directly with the Rollin’ 60s.

This is where the East vs West beef REALLY started. Tim Dog was told to diss the West Coast in order to get a deal. That sparked a back & forth with Tim, NWA, Eazy and Quik. Quik & Eazy even performed a diss together. Tim was eventually dropped and replaced with Biggie.
DJ Quik’s “Way 2 Fonky” (1992) was a direct response to Tim Dog, who had already taken shots at Quik and Compton on his Penicillin on Wax album, most notably with “Fuck Compton.” Quik returned fire, calling out Tim Dog’s music, his Bronx credentials and his claims against the West Coast. He even worked the phrase “Straight Bronx Killa” into the record, turning Tim Dog’s own regional identity against him. The single also contained shots at MC Eiht amid their ongoing Compton rivalry. Built around a sample of Zapp’s “More Bounce to the Ounce,” the record was Quik handling his business without sacrificing the funk. Tim Dog would eventually answer back on Do or Die with “I Don’t Give a Fuck.”

The irony: when Tim Dog was performing in SF, some West Coast cats tried to jump him. TUPAC of all people, intervened and protected Tim because they were both from the Bronx. Pac also ended up mentoring Tim’s replacement (Biggie) even told him to sign with the label (Uptown).

Wondering if those Russian data centers had anything to do with why he couldn’t do it again
Yeah Elon definitely rigged the 2024 election

He’s the next President if DTJ gets removed from office, and distancing himself now gives him the best chance of being able to position himself for HIS next election, which may not be til AFTER 2028 if he’s smart.
I'm too much of a noob to understand - why did he post this ? first read, this looks reasonable, honest, and somewhat vulnerable. But since he's the vice president, I know that can't be true. can someone explain? What is the 4D chess political strategy for posting this. Self preservation ?

It’s so crazy because Democrats still fucking suck completely. They only won like this because Trump got literally everything he wanted and regular people finally realized he NEVER gave a shit about them. They can’t undo media manipulation or destruction of military credibility
Democrats won enough trifectas last night to theoretically obtain an absolute majority of the electoral college for the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, and they certainly have Congressional majorities large enough to authorize such a compact. The only question is whether it would survive a court challenge. If they win the Presidency in 2028 and stack the Supreme Court as many Dems have threatened to do the moment they have the votes, there’s a chance that we will never again have Presidential elections in America decided by the Electoral College. I do not think people fully understand yet that Democrats won enough elections last night to permanently change this country in a way that may make things impossible to ever undo. Political parties operate off incentives. Their goal is to win elections, not permanently pander to a specific demographic constituency. While they can spend years or even decades in the wilderness, eventually, someone will look at the median voter and determine that he too can win an election by pandering to everyone to the Left or Right of that individual. So what happens when one side of the equation permanently changes the rules so that the median voter shifts from someone living in Ohio to say someone living in Virginia? The Beautiful Losers may not immediately return to power tomorrow, but make no mistake they are quietly waiting in the wings, hoping that Democrats change the rules of the American electoral process in order to permanently enshrine them as the natural controlled opposition.

Hardly comparable situations, especially when it comes AFTER an election.
This is an absolutely insane thing for a sitting VP to post. Vance is openly blaming his own admin's war in Iran for this Republican electoral collapse, while citing voters' anger over America's relationship with Israel. It may very well be that, in an effort to salvage whatever's left of his political future, Vance eventually goes further and breaks with Trump over the war, much like Hubert Humphrey belatedly distanced himself from LBJ over Vietnam in 1968. And if he does, the irony of JD Vance doing what Kamala Harris refused to do with Biden over the genocide in Gaza would make her refusal to break with him look even more indefensible.

“they elected a trans woman!!” “that’s great!” “in alabama”
Allison Montgomery has won Alabama's State House District 25 election, flipping the seat from Republican to Democratic. She becomes the first transgender woman to be elected to the Alabama Legislature.

This is facts. Gotta stop that incoming immigrant caravan before it starts. Easy to balance out with ICE dissolution + prosecutions. They can balance out their Trans policy by supporting trans-healthcare but putting restrictions on HS athletics. Would benefit the most people.
Dems will hold power for over a decade if we can just do 3 things 1) never let the border get like that again 2) don’t let crime go unpunished (this was actually regressive as it affects lower-income peoples the most) 3) chill out a little on the trans stuff

Straight from the Kamala Harris book of Word Salad😭😭😭
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

It was not a Blue Tsunami. It was a cataclysmic Blue nuclear bomb that shook the foundation of the American political landscape to its core. Some of my thoughts on this midterm: 1) It was the strongest rebuke of the governing party of my lifetime, even moreso than 1994 & 2010. The leftward shift was decisive across all states, regions, demographics. 2) Trump is a failed President. He squandered an impressive coalition through boneheaded policies. A deeper underlying problem that resonated with voters was Trump's shameless grift, using his office to enrich his family & friends while failing to focus on the bread and butter issues affecting the average American. This jarring disconnect fueled voter anger, galvanizing lower propensity voters to go for Dems. Simultaneously, Trump's failure to deliver on his core promises led to the exodus of young men from his coalition (especially young working class White & Latino men). 3) Consequences of this midterm: A) Anyone who worked for Trump is DOA for 2028 election. B) GOP will be locked out of Senate control for quite some time; this means Alito & Thomas will be replaced by liberal judges. Roberts also probably retires soon. SCOTUS will be remade, along with lower level federal judiciary. One of Trump's few lasting legacies will be crushed. C) Dem state legislatures will ruthlessly redistrict; huge implication beyond 2030 D) Dems will target tech oligarchs, especially Elon, crypto bros, and anyone who explicitly helped Trump. We will see this play out in Texas, where the incoming governor & her administration will no doubt target Elon's businesses that are headquartered in the state. E) Trump will move left on policy to make deals with a Dem congress as his priority is in getting "wins" rather than any overaching ideological agenda. Another motive will be to avoid conviction as Dem House will invariably impeach Trump.
Just talked to several GOP insiders on the ground. They’re saying tonight will be an earth shattering Blue Tsunami that will shock even Democrats. Some of the words used: “Earthquake” “Blue nuclear bomb” “Realignment”

Talk about grabbin’em by the pussy
When Obama was casting his ballot for the 2014 midterms, a man jokingly told the president not to touch his girlfriend, who was voting next to him. Obama then casually roasted the man until he finished voting.😂

Ancient technique passed down from our Native ancestors #knowyourlineage #FBA✊🏾🇺🇸
She used a technique called tear induced optical magnification where she forced herself to cry and used her tears as magnifying lenses to sharpen her vision like a pair of human glasses as her blood sugar dropped. And I just made all that up. I have no idea but great shot 👏
