Aim: provision of guidance for provider-directed, person-centred virtual hearing aid care. Client population: 0+ Care types: Management, programming, verification, validation. Key Terms: Virtual care- interactions between clients (circle of care); occurs remotely using any communication technologies; aim: facilitating & maximizing care quality, effectiveness, & outcomes (Jamieson et al, 2015; Shaw et al., 2018). Professional recommendations & responsibilities: client support; data storage; informed consent; record keeping; security/confidentiality; services; technology/tools; benefits/risks. Informed implementation strategies: optimal virtual communication; barriers/facilitators to practice change; readiness assessment; support personnel; sustainable. Virtual care context: environment/etiquette. Clinical decision frameworks: navigate person-centred care pathways. Technology/infrastructure: for care type/location; evidence-informed delivery models; real-world scenarios.
