6 for 6. Hard to do in today’s environment. Forever grateful for these guys and everything they’ve done for our program. Left it better than they found it and all have such bright futures ahead of them!
Thrilled for Andrew and his family! Bet on himself and landed at a bigtime place. Excited to see him continue to keep going!
Congratulations to Andrew Rivera ‘26 (@Andrewriivera ) on his commitment to Endicott! The Gulls went 28-2 and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament this season. Andrew becomes the 6️⃣th member of the class of 2026 to commit to play college basketball! #GoBigGreen

Proud of this kid. Keene getting a good one!
Congratulations to Jonathan Ocasio ‘26 on his commitment to Keene State! Johnny came to Deerfield 3 years ago and has grown so much as a person and player, as well as help take our program to new heights. We’re proud of you and can’t wait to see you keep thriving! #GoBigGreen
It takes a village! Special year with a special group of people that I will be forever grateful for
Congratulations to Coach Merrill on earning NEPSAC Class A Coach of the Year! 2026 was a historic season, which included making the Class A postseason for the first time in school history, winning a home quarterfinal game, and advancing to the semifinals. #GoBigGreen

Andrew Rivera ‘26 (@Andrewriivera ) had a tremendous post-grad year for us! The 6’3” floor general is tough as nails, scores it from all 3 levels, and is an outstanding facilitator. He is still available and will help any college program from day 1!

My tenure at the helm of @DeerfieldHoops comes to an end. Forever grateful to Bob Howe for hiring a guy who had zero head-coaching experience. Forever grateful for our players and families who believed in me.
Left it better than I found it and I am excited for what comes next!
Hard to see it come to an end, but so much to be proud of. Did something at a place where it’d never been done before, grew along the way, and changed the culture of Deerfield basketball. Beyond thankful for the support. The 2025-26 season will be one to remember. #GoBigGreen
Survive and advance!
Deerfield wins it 57-56 in a thriller that came down to the last seconds!
Andrew Rivera and Jonathan Ocasio hit tough shots through out the whole game for Deerfield while Teddy Cyr brought the energy on both ends of the floor.
For Dexter Malik Adamson had many tough finishes at the rim and Alex Dudley hit some timely three’s to propel them back.
Excited for our guys and the opportunity to keep this thing going!
We’re in! For the first time in school history, we’re heading to the NEPSAC Class A Tournament. The journey continues and we’re ready to keep going! #GoBigGreen
