Excited to share some more Artist Spotlights and today's features Malaysian artist, Ashraf Omar. His interesting style and striking color palettes makes his work memorable and recognizable. He's has created official works for The Last Of Us, Shelter, Andor, Evil Dead Burn & more.

... Je vous jure que c'est parfois très difficile d'être un vidéaste (monteur majoritairement) et de ne pas être condescendant avec vous. Le contexte de la scène justifie littéralement le nombre de cut...

I had to make some children’s get well soon cards for Spidey in Brand New Day.
When I was a kid, I used to make my own Spider-Man comics and thankfully I still have them! So I decided to scan in a few of my old drawings to use for the cards.
A nice full circle moment for me :)

Everyone taking the ending of The Odyssey literally and at face value with Odysseus and Penelope going into exile is making me feel a tad isolated because I thought it was just a standard ambiguous Nolan ending where Odysseus was dying and asked Penelope to indulge him in a lie.

My biggest complaint with IMAX as a format is that the size of the camera and lenses means you can’t do cash money shit like this

I loved the movie, but THE ODYSSEY is Nolan's first in ages that felt compromised due to the limits of IMAX –– I wanted a more patient build to Hades, a bigger sequence around Scylla, with dozens of shots I wish ran longer. it's what's stopping it from being one of his very best
