The pro-porn faction of "feminists" - Feminist Anti-Censorship Taskforce was funded by The Playboy Foundation and worked alongside the ACLU - Hefner, whose misogyny is the feminism of today, was hailed as a feminist by the Left

FYI, Linda Boreman's estate was managed by Mackinnon after her death. Yet, certain "people" still maintain the lie that she was exploited by Dworkin and Mackinnon to testify at the ordinance hearings. I'd like to see a source

Actually, it is properly called an ordinance. It was opposed by two left-wing feminist factions: the FACT (aligned with ACLU and saw p*rn as empowering) and the Wages for Housework ilk that claimed it would harm women in the industry

The anti-pornography "ordinance was eventually held to be unconstitutional by a conservative district court judge, a decision affirmed by a conservative circuit court panel." On the history of the nexus between pornographers, the ACLU, and the garden-variety antifeminists:

"When the civil rights ordinance was passed in the city of Minneapolis...the city was sued an hour after passing it...the first judge was a Reagan-appointed judge...a right-wing woman and she said sex-discrimination never outweighs First Amendment rights."

The Victorian feminists these women claimed Dworkin/Mackinnon were imitating also thought "education" could fix men

*two, the second was the FACT (Feminists Against Censorship Taskforce):
Just lying about the prison part and who knows what else considering they had explictly defended madams by this point
