Write how you think.

One of my favourite copy / design hacks is ‘Beta mode’.
Even a simple beta mode button on your landing page can work wonders.
Why?
Beta mode says:
- you’re early to this product (you win)
- it’s on an upward curve of development
- only an exclusive community has access
- you expect forgiveness for any flaws
Beta mode makes people feel special, which is pretty much what marketing is!
Look at the image below. How much more enticing does a BETA product look 👇
- Yes I want new features.
- Yes I want to experiment.

What makes you unique?
Ask yourself these questions:
• What do you do?
• What category do you belong to?
• What is your skill?
• What is your superpower?
These questions can help you discover your unique #1 position in the market.

Biggest SEO pet peeve: The misunderstanding of E-E-A-T.
People believe you need content written by doctors, lawyers, and the friggin Michael Phelps of whatever their blog topic is about... 🧵

I f*cking hated high school.
Kids were stupid,
The teachers were dumb,
School distracted me from the business.
But guess what...
I'm still going back to school in September.

Are you only using stock images on your site?
It may be time to reconsider.
If you read Google's own quality rater guidelines:
The lack of original imagery is directly associated with "low quality content".

How I Never Run Out Of Content Ideas
Is this my idea?
No way. It's been used in group form by almost every marketing department I've ever worked in.
I just adapted it slightly.
Here's how it works:
1. Turn off the TV, turn off the radio,
grab a pen and paper,
and sit.
2. Set a 30-minute timer.
3. Write down every idea that comes to your head, no matter what.
You're not allowed to question yourself,
limit yourself,
or have any negative idea-stopping thoughts.
Don't think,
"That's too expensive,"
"That would look silly,"
"That's too predictable,"
or "That's impossible."
Just write it down. Write everything down!
Every single thing that comes into your head.
Don't worry. No one else will ever see this list.
4. When 30 minutes are up, put the list away.
5. Look at it the next day with fresh eyes.
6. Pick your favorites.

Quick Copywriting Tip
I see a lot of work from newer copywriters…
And one of the most common mistakes is:
• Overwriting.
So keep your writing tight.
Don’t try to show off or cram in every copy technique you’ve learned.
Aim for clarity and simplicity.

Life hack:
I always plan my hardest tasks for the morning and my easy tasks for the afternoon, that way when I wake up at 12 all I have left to do are the easy tasks.
