Al Mayida by Karema Munassar has now been open for one week at Birkenhead Central Library. This latest instalment of the Convenience Gallery, Town is the Gallery Programme, sees artist Karema Munassar working with local people to create a 90 piece ceramic installation.
It aims to be a vibrant and inclusive celebration of community, culture, and creativity. By involving the local community in the creation process and incorporating elements of Arabic calligraphy, ...
