What’s giving us the biggest scare this Halloween? WAGE THEFT! 🕷️👻
No one should go to work and not get paid for it. Yet, the Ontario Minister of Labour, Trevor Jones, continues to let this happen. Between 2023-2024, 97% of bosses in Ontario investigated for wage theft faced no consequences. Just 3% of bosses investigated were penalized!
By not doing his job, the Minister of Labour has forced Workers’ Action Centre members to take matters into their own hands and become Bad-Boss-Busters!
☎️ If you’re experiencing wage theft, call the Workers’ Action Centre at (416) 531-0778 and become a Bad-Boss-Buster today.

Fiscal responsibility is a priority!
Accruing more public debt is also a priority!

End of the day, there's no free money. If the budget is tight and you plan on big tax cuts and a spending free something is going to have to give and it's very much the height of fiscal irresponsibility.

On the revenue side, his proposals on the land transfer tax, property taxes, & water fees will have a price tag that begins to approach a billion dollars annually while his big spending items (police hires, expanded treatment options, etc) will costs hundreds of millions.
#OtD 22 Oct 1905 30k workers in Chile rose up against poverty & price hikes. Police were overwhelmed so the rich formed a "white guard" to begin massacring workers. After 250 dead, the rebellion subsided but the workers' movement continued to grow stories.workingclasshistory.…
The Prime Minister called Bill C-39 the most consequential legislation in decades. This is True.
It tramples on environmental protections and Indigenous and workers’ rights, while handing ministers king powers to override constitutional safeguards in the name of the “national interest.”
Our Constitutional rights are not an inconvenience. So are the Liberals, with the help of the Conservative, really trying to build a strong Canada, or are they just working together to build a pipeline to the courts?
#BradBradFord's expensive promise to hire 1,000 police officers within 4 years is literally impossible (unless Toronto pays a premium to pinch cops from other cities' police forces). Despite that, he persists in making the nonsensical promise. #TOpoli
