Cuts to disability benefits would have been bad enough on its own.
But the vilification of disabled ppl to lay the groundwork for cruel cuts to make them more palatable to the wider public was absolutely rancid
Disabled ppl's lives reduced to mean rage bait & shock jock fodder.
Replying to @castleDD
These are desperate times. Disabled ppl and carers have been so let down, attacked on many different fronts with very few ppl speaking up in our defence.
Vilification of the disabled community to justify grubby & immoral cuts.
I think we could all scream so fair play to you 💜

where is the fucking outrage? this is the UC rate for the sickest most severely disabled people who are so ill they cannot work - they CANNOT make up the difference. i warn you, DO NOT get sick, DO NOT become disabled; Starmer's government will starve you.

I passed out from pain in the hospital waiting room and scored it an 8 when I came back round because I can imagine worse and they told me off like I didn't do exactly as they asked 🫠 it's a shit non-quantitative scale that especially sucks for chronic conditions

It’s funny how sometimes you buy a book, then read it in two days, and sometimes you buy a book and it lives on your bookshelf for 12 years.
Why is it always @My_Metro 🫠 this time it's some dude pissing in the corner on platform 1 at central station, absolutely fucking disgusting
I get to play disabled person sitting on the floor on the shitty new metros today because I'm too short to reach the sparse hand holds 🥰

Who could possibly have predicted that Flu+Covid in a warm, wet winter, when vaccinations didn’t start until 2weeks later than usual, and when vaccination eligibility is reduced is going to cause havoc…
The principal of a County Londonderry school has said it is like "being back in Covid times" after 170 pupils were off sick on one day alone.
