📣 TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT 📣
The Weyburn Red Wings have acquired '07 forward Phoenix FLETT from the Columbia Valley Rockies of the BCHC.
Flett is relatives of Jeff and Dakota Odgers who both had very successful junior careers in south Saskatchewan.
The Strathmore Alberta product stands in at 6’2, 200 lbs. Last season with the Rockies he accumulated six goals, two assists and 170 PIMS in 35 games. He has also competed in 19 AJHL games.
“We are excited about the roll that Phoenix will play with us. We believe he comes in as a physical presence that will be a factor in every game.” HC/GM Cody Mapes
“We have seen the league championship be awarded to heavier teams the last three years. We love the way we play the game but we need to fill some rolls in a certain way and we believe that Phoenix will do that along with some of the other recruits we have coming in.” HC/GM Cody Mapes
