Full Mario 64 in Mixed Reality! Running in real 3D (no stereoscopic crap) natively at 90FPS and also running on my desk! 😋
Again, Opus 5.5 + PICO CLI combo made it quite straightforward.
Such a bliss to play an oldie at 90 FPS in 3D.
Disclaimer: I own an original physical copy of Mario 64. This project is not associated with Nintendo or PICO.
One last hyper-enthusiastic reaction video for the final October trailers, as a little weaning-off present. There will probably also be a proper launch trailer closer to 5 November.
This was quite the extravaganza already. I'm sorry that my entire TL is almost 5 months of continuous Ocarina of Time spam :)

Video games used to run off 2mb of memory, nowadays they eat up 50gb or more.
Why is that?
New Switch 2 commercial, and guess which game is on distraction duty on the train?

First batch of The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Switch 2 consoles don't have the easy replacable battery in the EU territories, yet. That's for the 2nd batch.

Nintendo is really taking me back in the 90s. Soon with the Ocarina of Time remake, and I just played the demo for this new Castlevania game on my Switch 2 and was sold.
Super Metroid and Castlevania 4 really gave me an appetite for that kind of gameplay, and they sort of lost me when it all had to become 3D. I feel some games are better in 2 (or 2.5D). Happy to play this soon. Especially because it feels modernized with all the tarot cards and the way you can customize Rose's abilities.
