Oksana Luk you have stolen my heart. I am very proud to call you my fellow American citizen. Hold on to your dreams. They can come true.
I was the youngest of seven siblings that lived in a very small town. My father made a modest living but we were not poor and our home was filled with love.
There were only 27 kids in my high school’s graduating class in 1959. I graduated, served three years in the U. S. Army with a two year deployment in Germany and 90 days temporary duty in Turkey. When I returned home I soon married and we had a daughter. I worked my way through undergraduate school and then moved to the state capital where I worked my way through law school. I had the GI Bill helping me but I had to work full time to support my family.
I went to work for an insurance company and stayed there 45 years. I was a successful executive and I loved my job. Retired now for about 10 years and living a good life with my bride of 60 years. See, the American dream can happen.

I’d love to know whether @Lyft now blackballs conservative customers—or at least customers who think women’s sports should be for women
WOW. Last night, four women got thrown out of a Portland Thorns game for wearing "Save Women's Sports" shirts. Then their Lyft driver recognized them, pulled over, and told them to get out.
Most were over 50. One uses a walker. The next morning, one of them says Lyft deactivated HER account.
It's really sickening what is being done to women to protect the feelings of mentally ill males.

It’s absolutely perfect, and I’m so proud.
Thank you, .@POTUS for making the People’s House so beautiful.

It’s beautiful!
Somebody finally treats the People's House like it matters.
Every blade of grass perfect. Old Glory on top. The presidential seal front and center.
This is what it looks like when a builder lives there.
Well done President Trump.

Man in his BOXERS trashes an entire store, aisle by aisle… and the employees just film 😳
"I can't believe I can't tackle this guy."
"We'll lose our job if we touch him."
Pastries, chips, the whole nut aisle, all on the floor. A customer walks right past like nothing's happening 💀
Should employees be allowed to stop him, or is the store right?

He went into enemy territory disguised
as a fisherman to rescue two American pilots. Six months later, a bullet tore through his skull—and another Navy SEAL carried him through enemy fire rather than leave him behind.
In 1972, Navy SEAL Thomas Norris volunteered for two rescue missions deep inside North Vietnam after commanders believed the downed American pilots were beyond saving.
Disguised as a Vietnamese fisherman, Norris slipped through enemy-controlled waterways and jungle, eventually locating the pilots and leading them to safety. For those extraordinary rescues, he received the Medal of Honor.
Then, six months later, Norris was ambushed during another mission. He was shot in the head, suffering a devastating wound that left him unconscious and near death.
His teammate, Mike Thornton,
refused to abandon him.
Under heavy enemy fire, Thornton carried Norris to the water, dragged him into the sea, and swam with him for hours until they were rescued.
Both men survived. Both eventually received the Medal of Honor.
Norris later served 20 years with the FBI. Thornton continued his military career.
Their story became more than a tale
of battlefield courage.
One man went back for the impossible rescue.
The other went back for him.
Neither was willing to leave a
teammate behind 🫡 ♥️🇺🇸

A mother woke up to find her home engulfed in flames with all six of her children still trapped inside.
She made it outside, then realized all of her kids were still in the burning house, so she turned around and went back in.
The smoke was so thick she had to get down low and crawl. She fought her way through the house and up the stairs while the fire spread around her.
Emma Schols kept going back for her children, getting them out one by one even as the heat became unbearable.
By the time it was over, all six of her children had made it out alive.
Emma suffered burns over 93% of her body saving her children, and said she would do it all again.
This is the type of mom the internet should be talking about.

The riots on France are not about students or schools. They are a DIRECT RESULT of immigrant Muslims and Africans being imported and protected. The EU is an evil empire. Comments?

In the summer of 1994, a 23-year-old Elon Musk spent his days in Los Gatos at Pinnacle Research Institute, dreaming up how ultracapacitors could power electric cars and even Star Wars–style laser guns. Then, around 5 p.m. every evening, he drove to Palo Alto for his second job at Rocket Science Games, a startup full of future legends, from Tony Fadell, who would later build the iPod, to the people behind Apple's QuickTime and engineers from Industrial Light & Magic.
They hired him to write the most boring code imaginable, drivers so joysticks and mice would work with games, but Elon quietly gave himself a much harder problem 😂: figuring out how a computer could run a game and stream video from a CD at the same time, something the machines of that era simply couldn't do.
Peter Barrett, one of the company's founders, remembered him as "completely unflappable," and said that after a while nobody was giving him directions at all, because he was just building what he wanted to build. Bruce Leak, who hired him, said: "He had boundless energy." So yeah, nobody handed Elon the big problem, he just went looking for it, at night, after a full day at another job. This is who Elon Musk is 💙
