One of my peak moments was meeting @thebradmontague, creator of @iamkidpresident. As we return to a new school year, I strive to remember his best advice. #ResponseMatters @MaribelbellEds

Behind every successful school year is an incredible team of dedicated professionals.
As we prepare to welcome students back, Atlanta Public Schools is proud to be Day One Ready:
✅ More than 3,000 teachers ready to inspire, challenge, and support students.
✅ More than 600 paraprofessionals prepared to provide critical classroom support every day.
✅ 0 Principal vacancies
✅ 0 Bus Driver vacancies
✅ Just 1 Teacher vacancy districtwide
That means virtually every classroom is staffed and ready for learning on Day One.
To every teacher, paraprofessional, bus driver, school nutrition professional, custodian, counselor, administrator, and support staff member: Thank you for making this possible. Your commitment is what makes APS strong.
Our strength isn't just in our numbers, it's in our people.

Our Atlanta Teen Leaders are planning a Sneaker and Coat Drive for families in need this fall and winter on Saturday, November 23 at C.T. Martin Recreation Center.
We appreciate new or gently used donations and all sizes are accepted.
At the ribbon cutting at @TheAPSHub, visitors not only got to see the space but also got a snapshot of all the amazing things @ATL_Counselors are doing to make sure all students graduate ready for college, career & life. The work school counselors do matters!
