On November 11, Canadians take a moment to remember the brave men & women who served our country in times of war. Over 1.5 million Canadians served overseas, & more than 100,000 made the ultimate sacrifice. They gave their lives & futures so that we might live in peace.
Today is National Indigenous Veterans Day, a day dedicated to honoring and remembering the sacrifices & contributions of Indigenous veterans who served in the First & Second World Wars & the Korean War.
Lest we forget🧡
