I have no hard evidence, but anecdotally I’d say the time at least doubles if you have a cat.
One thing no one ever talks about being an adult is how much time you debate yourself on keeping a cardboard box because it's, like, a really good box.
Just spent much longer than I care to admit scrolling back to find a specific tweet. Had the side effect of making me actually miss twitter.

So proud of @andreweells being one of the authors on an article that is going to press! His first academic publication and I can’t wait to read it.
Same 🤷
I’ve only had 2 thoughts in the last 6 months that seem like tweets...

They really are. On our 12-point rubric of healthy sexuality teaching, they both scored at the very bottom (though L&R was worse). And the sad thing is, of all the books we looked at, they were likely the biggest sellers.

In the evangelical view of sex: Men’s desires are more important than women’s bodily autonomy. It is no wonder that sexual abuse runs rampant.
The evangelical view of sex: 1) Men have “needs” 2) Women need to fulfill men’s “needs” 3) Men are entitled to this fulfillment from “their” woman 4) Men are entitled to protection from “temptation” by modesty culture & “their woman” meeting their “needs” This thread 👇

Also ‘Every Man’s Battle’ and ‘Love & Respect’ are *trash* and perpetuating vast harm.

We're all bemoaning the celebrity Christian culture that led to the Ravi Zacharias & Carl Lentz (& so many more) sex & sexual abuse scandals. But what if the problem is not just--or even mostly--celebrity culture? What if it's the evangelical view of sex? A thread.

I didn’t know that what I needed to end the night on was Katy Perry singing firework with 46,000,000 fireworks going off... but I did, I did need that.

I was in my mid/late 20s when I learned I had the same number of ribs as my husband.

I had planned to make a concerted effort to be more active on Twitter again in the new year. And then the past week in world events happened and I don’t know if I have it in me. What tips do y’all have to both be active on here and also sane during all this?

The state of Kentucky deemed the lives of Breonna Taylor’s neighbors to be worth more than her own. Let that sink in.

People want to be called “pro-life” while celebrating a woman’s death. Think about that.
