Pedestrian & bike traffic has boomed on the Queensboro Brdg, leading to violent crashes on the narrow shared path. Yet @NYC_DOT delayed the new pedestrian walkway to the end of 2023. @JulieMenin @Powers4Queens & I are requesting a thorough explanation for this dangerous inaction.

OK, look, this is a completely ridiculous idea that is also prohibited by law, but what's your craziest idea for NYC's recovery? I say we connect the Empire State Building to the Chrysler Building with a zip line.

Today, I stood with @NewtownCreek in Dutch Kills to call on our city agencies to invest in our crumbling and derelict shoreline. Our western Queens communities deserve a safe and restored waterfront that families can enjoy, and we'll work together to make it happen.
