Update on Mom —
Orthopedics saw her today. The hip incision is healing well. She still has pain and weakness in the right leg, which is expected after the surgery and the pneumonia setback. They want her to keep doing PT/OT and walk with a walker, weight-bearing as tolerated.
Ortho follow-up is in four weeks.
She’s had a tough month. In addition to the hip recovery and the pneumonia, she has developed bedsores on her bottom and heels. They’re treating those while she continues therapy.
Please keep praying.
