Stosh was the first producer I worked with when I started hosting shows for ESPN Radio back in 2019. He epitomized what it meant to fulfill that role at the highest level with his preparation, creativity and how he always set up his hosts for success. He gave everything he had to this labor of love and made everyone he worked with better, from the board ops he trained to the most recognizable voices on the network. He helped me become the best version of myself on air, always saying yes when I'd ask for another listening session even when there was no way he had the bandwidth to spare because of the umpteen shows he was called on to produce and shifts he supervised. He somehow managed to master all the chaos, personalties, tech issues and constant challenges that come with putting quality programming on the air even on the days where it felt like everything that could go wrong did. He was the best of us and our @ESPNRadio family is a lot less whole without him. I'll miss you, my friend. I hope they always have the Chiefs and Royals on the big screen up there for you.
Longtime ESPN Radio producer Stosh Cienki has sadly passed away at 52. He spent over two decades in Bristol and was loved behind the scenes at @espnradio. Colleagues remembered one of the network's most positive forces and steady professionals. barrettmedia.com/2026/10/21/…

Jonah Jackson (hip/quad) carries no injury destination for TNF. He is good to go. Kyle Monangai and Jack Sanborn are OUT. Third straight game for Monangai. Tyrique Stevenson is QUESTIONABLE. T.J. Edwards is DOUBTFUL.

Caleb Williams was named the NFC’s offensive player of the week for his performance against Atlanta in his return from a 3-game absence due to a hamstring injury. Williams went 30-for-36 for 305 yards and a TD.

Three starting OL in question for New England vs. Chicago. Brown and Vera-Tucker were DNP for a second day in a row on the Patriots injury report, and Tuesday was an actual practice day (not a WT) for New England. RT Morgan Moses had limited participation Monday/Tuesday.
Mike Vrabel says it is unlikely that G/C Ben Brown and LG Alijah Vera-Tucker will be available this week, but there is a chance veteran OT Morgan Moses could be available.

Jonah Jackson was upgraded to limited participation on the injury report. Encouraging sign as he was listed as DNP Monday. Everyone else carries the same designation.

Per @NextGenStats, Bears CB Kyler Gordon recorded the two fastest sacks of the *season* in his Week 6 debut when he got to Michael Penix, Jr. in 2.4 and 2.44 seconds. DC Dennis Allen said Gordon is so effective as a blitzer because of his "outstanding" quickness and elusiveness. Allen: "His ability to stutter his feet and then accelerate, or his ability to dip the tip and turn the corner, he just has a knack for it and an innate ability to find the quarterback. Some guys really have that and some don’t and I think he does. I think he’s got a natural instinct for it."

Just some clarity on what the #Eagles can or can't say when it comes to their players' medical issues and whether Howie Roseman should have been made available to answer questions rather than Nick Sirianni: For years during the Andy Reid era, many times when there was an injury or medical situation that extended beyond the norm, the team would provide head trainer Rick Burkholder to answer questions from reporters. For instance, when Mike Patterson collapsed and suffered a seizure during training camp in 2011, Burkholder was front and center after Patterson was diagnosed with cerebral arteriovenous malformation. When Reid left, the Eagles essentially decided they would keep most injury information private outside of NFL-sanctioned practice and status reports. Most of the questions about Jalen Hurts and his blood clot(s) that were directed at Nick Sirianni on Monday, however, were about procedure (should he have played? traveled? flown?). Sirianni deferred to the team's medical staff. Obviously, no one from the medical staff was made available. They don't report to Sirianni, but to Eagles GM Howie Roseman. Roseman doesn't typically speak with reporters on the record during the season, except after major trades (i.e. Cam Jurgens two weeks ago). But there is nothing preventing the team from having a news conference with Roseman over the handling of Hurts during the last few weeks. Presumably, if Roseman -- who is responsible for all roster decisions and oversees all medical, training, strength and sports science departments -- and the team believe they handled Hurts appropriately, then they shouldn't be wary of answering specific questions about the topic for public consumption.

D'Andre Swift's 2nd half usage has been a topic since Week 4. Of his 16 carries (44 yards, 2 TD) vs. ATL, only 4 came after halftime, which is due to the Bears managing his workload and riding what they felt was the hot hand later in the game with Roschon Johnson. OC Press Taylor: "I think a little bit is I think there's a mindfulness to preserve him a little bit. It's a long season. Just aware of D'Andre and how he's been throughout the course and how invaluable he is for us throughout the course of the season. And there's an opportunity .... obviously Roschon unfortunately had a fumble in the fourth quarter there, but we felt like Roschon was really contributing pretty well for us in a number of aspects. He showed up in the pass game quite a bit, had some good carries, some good runs. Obviously, we've got to eliminate the turnover itself, but Roschon was rolling pretty good there too, so we felt comfortable rolling with him in there as well. And Swifty was ready to go if we needed it. So no, there's nothing really too much beyond that."

Press Taylor on comfort level with Luke Newman, who played at ATL, and Jordan McFadden, who didn’t, and the idea of replacing the “steady force” that is Jonah Jackson if he can’t go. “We’re excited about the depth we have. Newman came in, did a good job to finish that game out for us. I think it’s worth noting McFadden started for us last year in the playoffs, and we were very comfortable with him starting at guard, and he did a good job in that game. So we’re excited about the depth of those guys. And we’ll see where Jonah’s at and if he’s got a chance to play on Thursday or not, but we are excited about some of the depth we have behind those guys as well on the inside.”
To monitor. Jordan McFadden seems like he’s next up at right guard if Jackson is out for TNF.

Bears OG Jonah Jackson has a hip flexor injury and is considered week-to-week, per source. Status for TNF in doubt but shouldn’t be long term.

Bears CB Kyler Gordon was excellent in his return Sunday. But the last year brought delays, uncertainty -- and frustration between the player and team over his calf injury. Inside Gordon's lengthy recovery and how he got back, from @CourtneyRCronin and me: espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/5021…

From me and @JFowlerESPN: Kyler Gordon returned with vengeance and did the absolute most (3 sacks, 2 FF) in limited defensive snaps (16) in his season debut. This was a long time coming from a player the Bears want to be a cornerstone of their defense, but injury issues/delays and frustrations from both sides over how Gordon's rehab was going had to be accounted for. An inside look at how the Bears/Gordon worked through the ups and downs of the last year, getting him back on the field and the goal of keeping him there the rest of the season. espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/5021…

The Bears didn’t have much by way of a downfield passing game until Caleb Williams’ return. Williams was 5-for-6 for 100 yards (16.7 ypa) and a touchdown on passes thrown 10+ air yards vs. Atlanta. In Williams’ absence Weeks 3-5, Bears QBs were 18-34 (10.9 ypa) with 1 TD and 3 INTs on those same throws.

Nearing his return from a hamstring injury, Caleb Williams let Ben Johnson know his goals for the Bears offense against the Falcons. "I walked in his office, dapped him up and said, 'Let's get this thing going this week," Williams said. "I walked out after that." Williams' return under center sparked the Bears offense in ways it hadn't seen since the season opener in Carolina. espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/5021…

Caleb Williams and Kyler Gordon were difference makers in their respective returns. Plenty more to come from Atlanta but some quick takeaways for now from the Bears 31-23 win over the Falcons from me and @marcraimondi. espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/5018…
