This has been probably the darkest 24 hours I’ve ever experienced on social media in my life. The things being said about Samuel, his wife, and his small children are unthinkably evil. There is a segment of the so-called “Christian” nationalist crowd that has given itself completely over to Satan. I’ve never had more resolve to defeat these subversive demons invading the Right and invading Christianity.

I have received a statement from DHS regarding Sam Sey: “On October 21, ICE arrested Samuel Sey, an illegal alien from Ghana, at the Columbus International Airport. Sey entered the United States legally in 2022 but overstayed his length of admission by over four years, in violation of our nation’s laws. Sey has no pending applications and accepted voluntary departure. He will remain in ICE custody until removed from the United States.   “We do not pick and choose which laws to enforce or where to enforce them.   “We encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP Home App. The United States is offering illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now. We encourage every person here illegally to take advantage of this offer and reserve the chance to come back to the U.S. the right legal way to live the American dream. If not, you will be arrested and deported without a chance to return.” - DHS SPOX As I get more information, I will update.

As opposed to “Creationism” (that God immediately creates each new soul ex nihilo at conception), Traducianism asserts that both body AND soul are propagated from one’s parents through natural generation. Traducianism explains the passing down of a sin nature far better than Creationism does. Creationism must explain how a soul immediately created by God comes to possess Adamic corruption without locating the origin of that corruption in God’s creative act. 
Creationists have answers for this, but Traducianism is obviously correct. You are not born as a blank slate; you are the product of your parents, who are the product of their parents. Was Tertullian a false teacher because he believed this? What about Augustine who was sympathetic towards it? Or Gregory of Nyssa? Martin Luther? William G.T. Shedd? A.H. Strong? R.L. Dabney? Traducianism is a legitimate position within Christian orthodoxy. I should know, it’s been my favorite topic with which to blindside dinner guests for years.
