Fact 3: President Zelenskyy has agreed not to hit Russian petroleum in exchange for this targeting assistance.
Fact 4: President Trump can lower prices at the pump today by simply agreeing to this deal!
MR. PRESIDENT, PLEASE TAKE THIS WIN!
Secretary of State Marco Rubio says President Trump is taking up to 60 days to consider sanctioning Russia he waived in the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia & Iran law: "I think the President wants to take the 60-day period of time to sort of analyze what imposing both sanctions and tariffs will mean to the global economy and even to the U.S. economy. I think when the bill was passed, one of the reasons the waivers were put in there is understanding that they would need some period of time to study this."
Secretary of State Rubio: "Starshield is a contract with the U.S. military. It has nothing to do with Ukraine. I know Ukraine wants access to Starshield. They do not have Starshield now. They’ve asked for access to it in order to conduct deep strikes inside of Russia. They do not have access to it at this moment..It’s under discussion right now of how they would want to use it."

Former House Foreign Affairs Chair McCaul (R-TX) opposes Trump's waiver of Russia sanctions: "I urge the president to reverse course, use these sanctions, and return to the time-tested principle that lasting peace is secured through strength — not accommodation." xitter.cf/RepMcCaul/status/21114…
When President Trump welcomed Putin onto American soil for peace talks, Putin responded less than two weeks later with a massive bombardment of Kyiv that killed more than 20 civilians.
When President Trump pressured Ukraine to make territorial concessions to Russia, Putin turned around and provided Iran with intelligence to help target American servicemembers.
And when President Trump secured his diesel deal with Putin, the Kremlin responded by continuing to strike Ukraine’s energy infrastructure — despite the president’s calls for an energy ceasefire.
Just last week, Russian forces also bombed buses full of innocent civilians, killing more than 30 people, in violation of international law.
Time and again, we have seen how Putin responds to American concessions: with contempt for the United States and increased violence against innocent Ukrainians.
Lindsey Graham understood this dynamic. That's why he and I spent his final years fighting to give the president the tools to put maximum pressure on Putin and bring him to the negotiating table. I urge the president to reverse course, use these sanctions, and return to the time-tested principle that lasting peace is secured through strength — not accommodation.
House Financial Services Chair Hill (R-AR), who voted for sanctioning Russian opposes Trump's waiver: "We should be increasing economic pressure on Russia, not easing up...I have requested a classified briefing on the rationale for this decision." xitter.cf/RepFrenchHill/status/2…
We should be increasing economic pressure on Russia, not easing up. We need to use every tool at our disposal, including fully implementing the Graham sanctions and my REPO Act, to squeeze Putin until he ends his illegal and barbaric war in Ukraine.
I have requested a classified briefing on the rationale for this decision.
