How has Englandβs NHS fared under Conservative governments?
@C4Ciaran and @FactCheck have been crunching the numbers.
It's Christian to improve services capacity to accommodate the needy. (You've broken them)
It's Christian to support (horrible term) 'developing nations' and their people (you've slashed aid)
It's Christian to rejoice in the welcoming of our neighbours (not barr/deport them)
I agree with my mate @NickFletcherMP
who said this π
'I do not think it is Christian to promise people a life in this country when we do not have the services for them.
'I do not think it is Christian to take the best people from developing countries because we do not train our own in this country.
'I do not think it is Christian when my constituents have to put up with immigration at the level it is at.'

Paul Tillich said, "Never consider the secular realm Godless just because it does not speak of God."
I would add: Never consider the religious realm holy because it speaks easily of God.

I've probably read this poem 100 times, but when the world seems particularly gone to hell, it still brings me to tears.
I'm off to the Institute of Multicultural Ministry in Stuttgart for the next week.
It's off to a good start, I've got a whole row of seats to myself for the flight out.

Today we finally achieved our goal of securing pledges to get 50 refugees resettled for @greenbelt's 50th birthday. This is a massive achievement, thank you Greenbelters!!
We're still here to talk if you want to host or help find hosts.
It's a huge joy volunteering at @greenbelt (hosting in the Hope & Anchor again - come and say hi!)
One challenge is working out what I can get to outside of shift times - I've made a start below, what are your 'must see' items this year? #Greenbelt #Greenbelt2023 β at Lewisham, London

We're having all the windows changed this week.
Yesterday I asked what time they'd arrive today. "Between 9 and 10" I was told.
Today the doorbell rang at 0755.
Reader, I was fast asleep.
My alarm blissfully set for 0830.
I need a shower.
They've started in the bathroom.
