Congratulations to Andrew Abdo on his appointment as the new CEO of Tennis Australia.
Andrew is an outstanding executive with a strong track record in Australian sport, and I know the organisation will be in very good hands under his leadership. I wish him every success.
The passing of Neale Daniher is an enormous loss for Australian sport and for the wider community. Neale represented the very best of humanity. He was courageous, selfless and deeply committed to making a difference for others. My deepest condolences to Neale’s family, friends.

Congratulations @alexdeminaur - another amazing run. 11 titles. 👏
Iconic. 2026 champion Alex de Minaur, with his #abnamroopen trophy in hand and the snow falling from above, meets the unmistakable Erasmusbrug. ❄️🏆📸

Monday morning in Melbourne. The AO Champ takes a walk in the park. @carlosalcaraz 🤝 Norm.
Australian Open 2026 attendance record crowds: 1,150,044 fans through the gates for the main draw and 1,368,043 across the tournament. Thank you to everyone who helped make Melbourne Park the place to be this summer.
Australia has a new men’s champion, @carlosalcaraz, the youngest to earn a career Grand Slam. Novak was incredible in victory and defeat. Nothing but respect for these two greats. #AO26
One fine morning in Melbourne.
The AO 2026 Women's Singles Champion Elena Rybakina takes a stroll along the Yarra with Daphne.
Two dominant forces. One AO 2026 champion. Congratulations Elena Rybakina - unstoppable from start to finish. Thank you, Aryna Sabalenka, for a brilliant fortnight. We look forward to welcoming you both back to Rod Laver Arena.
Great to see @RafaelNadal back at the Australian Open for the first time since his retirement to mark Kia’s 25th anniversary as a long-standing AO major partner. Federer, Djokovic and now Nadal ... it's been a phenomenal AO.
An Australian Open semifinal day that will go down as one of the best. At the end, @DjokerNole will play for his 11th AO title and @carlosalcaraz for this first.
Congratulations to AO26 double mixed double champions John Peers and Olivia Gadecki. They lost the first set to French pair Kristina Mladenovic and Manuel Guinard, and trailed in the 10 point tiebreaker, but came roaring back to claim their second consecutive crown.
