The children in P1B have been enjoying lots of model making with blocks and junk! Great creativity and teamwork all round 😊

P1/2 have been getting up to lots of important play. We have been reading stories, building castles, drawing scenes from space and designing doll houses.

Our Football Team had our first game on Saturday against The Royal High Primary School. Despite the final score of 5-1, our players played brilliantly, especially considering we had only had two training sessions. A huge thank you to Gary, the team coach.

P4 had their second rugby lesson today with 2 coaches from Leith Rugby Club. The class worked hard on their rugby passing skills, great job P4!

P4 had their first rugby lesson with a coach from Leith Rugby yesterday and they worked hard to learn new skills. We have 5 more lessons before taking part in the Rugby Festival at Leith Academy.

Some more P7 leavers fun! We had a great day at the arcades, laser tag and bowling! Followed by some ice cream in the rain! More photos to come 🎳🎰🍦

P7 had a great party afternoon! They enjoyed a silent disco, a movie and pizza 🍕 🕺🏽

During our music sessions, P1 have been singing lots of different songs to Nora's ukulele. We especially like the 'apples and bananas', 'che che kule' and postman song.🎵

P2A had such a fun day yesterday with our Lego day. We built towers and bridges. Used Lego to help us with sums and played a new game in PE called bricks.

P6a had a lovely time at their One Planet Picnic today. They ate every last scrap of the healthy snacks and enjoyed playing games in the sunshine 🌞 🌍

P6 finalists had a fantastic time at Edinburgh University on Tuesday, where they participated in the #schooltasking final. They took part in lots of fun challenges and came 2nd! Well done, Tartan Army Team and all the other finalists. 🌟

P3B had a great time yesterday at their One Planet picnic. We were learning about plastic pollution and the importance of looking after our planet ☀️🌏

P6 have been learning about hygiene and how to look after themselves as they approach those 'teenage years!' They designed these fantastic skin care and body products in health and wellbeing lessons. They look just as good as products in our supermarkets now! 😊
