1/10 🧵 The WRU has released further evidence supporting its decision to reduce Welsh rugby from four regions to three.
Having looked through the report, I think there are serious questions about how this decision has been reached.
🚨 The WRU has published a new microsite futurerugby.cymru which is home to progress reports, detailed documents and supporting evidence behind its future operating model for the men's professional game in Wales. 🏴👇

Listening to @BBCScrumV shows how vital these games are.
Yet WRU continues killing a region w/o grasping repercussions.
Predicting another £18m loss next FY. What happens if it’s worse than last?
@WelshRugbyUnion can you hear us now?

As stadiums go, St Helens has to be up there!
Beautiful sunset tonight, great to see a crowd down there again last night 🦢🏈

The WRU board must resign.
Net assets have collapsed from £44.2m to just £6.8m in three years, with a £17.7m annual loss and £126m in net debt.
Well said Lee! 👏🏼
Absolutely spot on as always mate!
Replying to @WelshRugbyUnion
@WelshRugbyUnion can’t you get it into your thick skulls that fans are walking away because of you? Your utter incompetence and mismanagement is why our game is in trouble.
YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!
Tierney and Co, must step down now.
What an evening! Well done to all. Getting her this far.
Im hearing rumours of a new stand with a 4000 capacity in May 27.
Can anyone confirm this?

If the WRU was a public listed company, its share price would be in the toilet right now and shareholders would be banging on the door asking what the board and exec are going to do about it.
The WRU needn't worry, because their shareholders don't appear to care.
They should have used this money to pay themselves out.
This feels like a pinnacle moment. So many feel exactly like this, and it’s clear with over 81,000 tickets unsold. It’s disastrous. They should have stepped down when they failed to get the regions to sign PRA25. It’s gone on far too long.
Well done Hayley!
