Liberation does not include maintaining a leash on those who are oppressed
freedom on their terms is the only possible goal.
you cannot impose anything that impedes their natural human drives for freedom, self defense self detemination and justice. unfairness is unsustainable

The Hannibal Directive (also known as the Hannibal Procedure or Hannibal Protocol) is a highly controversial military policy used by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) designed to prevent the capture of Israeli soldiers by enemy forces. The core operating principle of the classified directive is to use maximum force to stop a kidnapping, even at the risk of harming or killing the captive forces or nearby civilians.

All media outlets must turn their attention toward Sudan. The UAE is causing the blood of Sudanese citizens to be shed every single day. We will not sleep or remain silent while the blood of our brothers in Sudan is being spilled across every part of Sudanese territory.

This video is from three years ago, documenting a genocide in Sudan. Since its release, the genocide has continued daily, with scenes like this and worse. Don't be silent! The children of Sudan need our voices. This is the least we can do.

This is an outrageous lie and a deliberate attempt to rewrite the reality of Taiz.
The Saโilah has been overflowing with garbage for decades, not years. I am from Taiz, and my family has lived there for generations. In fact, one of my fatherโs properties directly overlooks the Saโilah. For decades, every time he visits Taiz, he makes the same observation: They still havenโt cleaned up the Saโilah!
So please, spare us the propaganda. This is not some new crisis caused by Ansar Allah. The neglect, corruption, and failure of local governance go back decades.
And letโs not forget Iftihan Al-Mashhari, the courageous woman who headed Taizโs Cleaning and Improvement Fund, challenged corruption, and was brutally assassinated in broad daylight in September 2025.
A woman trying to clean up her own city was murdered in its streets. Yet weโre supposed to believe Ansar Allah is responsible for every pile of garbage?
How convenient to blame Ansar Allah while ignoring the corruption, lawlessness, and Saudi-backed armed factions operating within Taiz.
Stop exploiting the suffering of Taiz to manufacture political propaganda. The people of Taiz deserve accountability, not more lies!
Please share to show,
When Saudi money is talking garbage ๐
Taha Saleh correspondent of
Saudi TV AL Arabyia in Taiz post a video and wrote:
"Mountains of garbage are piling up in flood channels after the Houthi militia prevented waste from being transported out of the city, turning the crisis into a serious environmental and public health threat, adding to the daily suffering of residents"
Everyone in Yemen specially in Taiz knows that the garages in Taiz city is always been thrown into the flood drainage channel. Even before 2014 and after till today..it has nothing to do with recent battle in Taiz, it's been for many many years like that, specially after 2011 revolution.
๐ video and pictures with dates on shows exactly that.

There are absolutely valid criticisms of how protective presence operates in the West Bank, particularly when people monetize Palestinian suffering, center themselves, or become more of a liability to the communities theyโre supposedly there to protect.
But I think itโs deeply misguided to dismiss protective presence as a concept, especially when Palestinians themselves have explicitly called for international volunteers to provide it.
Protective presence has a long history in Palestine. It can serve a real purpose, whether accompanying farmers facing settler attacks, helping communities remain on their land, documenting Israeli violence, or attempting to deter it through international visibility. That doesnโt mean every volunteer is effective, or that good intentions automatically translate into meaningful protection.
We should be demanding more accountability and more meaningful solidarity, not ridiculing the very idea of people physically showing up for Palestinians.
And we shouldnโt forget people like Rachel Corrie, Tom Hurndall, and Ayลenur Ezgi Eygi, who were killed by Israeli forces while standing in solidarity with Palestinians. Their sacrifices are a reminder that this history cannot simply be reduced to performative activism or Instagram likes.
I canโt speak to everyoneโs intentions, particularly in the age of social media, and I certainly donโt think international volunteers should be beyond criticism. But thereโs a difference between criticizing people who exploit solidarity and dismissing a practice that Palestinian communities have requested and continue to rely on.
The question should be how to make protective presence more effective, accountable, and responsive to Palestinian needs, not whether we should discourage people from showing up in the first place.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to set out my vision for the United Nations and engage directly with Member States and civil society.
The discussion reinforced something I believe deeply: progress does not require our differences to disappear. It requires us to work through them.
That is the approach I would bring to the office of Secretary-General: relentless diplomacy, the stubborn optimism to believe agreement is possible, and a determination to turn that agreement into results for the people the UN exists to serve.

๐จTo you, this may be just another post on your timeline. To me, writing it means trying once again to change something about my family's reality in Gaza.
You see a few lines on a screen. You don't see the decisions I have to make when there isn't enough money for everything my family needs.
I'm sharing this because I still believe that reaching the right person can make a real difference.
If you'd like to help my family, our fundraiser is here:
