Wednesday, 19 March 2025: While we have made notable progress in our generation recovery efforts, Eskom faced the loss of five generation units before the peak period. Consequently, Stage 2 loadshedding was implemented at 18:25 and will remain in effect until 5:00 tomorrow.
We continue to prioritising planned maintenance to strengthen system reliability ahead of the winter months, while ensuring adherence to environmental and licensing conditions.
In light of the ongoing system constraints, we urge the public to use electricity sparingly.
Eskom sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused and will continue to provide updates as required.

Unbelievable. @CityPowerJhb actually changes slot times to make sure we have more 4 hour slots at stages 6 and above. #Loadshedding
It was good to have the same basic level of electricity as other countries while it lasted.

D2 Heresy didn't show anything that made me go OMG! I have to play this! AND drag everyone I know back.
It's more D2, not new D2, not even really better D2, and if all you want is more D2, great this is for you! But I don't see this moving the needle on lapsed/new players.
