Players want to go on a journey with you. Whether it is an individual developmental journey, a team cohesion journey or a social journey... each player and team has its own unique needs and expectations. The key is to bring it all together. Live the journey together.

Have high expectations! Encourage, challenge and support as the player and team requires. Live the journey with them 🤝 Adjust your 'coaching' dependant on players personality, ambition & skill set. Tough ask! Knowing your players drive is key. Move forward together 🤝

Does anyone else try and talk like a radio DJ when a breakout room on zoom or teams is ending, to time what they are saying to the countdown clock? See this as a regular personal challenge!

Just running through options for the draw for next year SR and the biggest problem is it always comes out that the Crusaders have the easiest draw. Ridiculous how every year they get to somehow avoid playing the Crusaders. Conspiracy.

Gilbert Enoka 👇 🗣"Leadership is an influence relationship, you've got to be able to influence people - it's about how I relate to you.... it's not so much about teaching people skills sets but understanding its relational - how do I maintain relationships with those I lead?"

#COVIDCoaching Warm Up Game! My attempt to create a game with some pressure while maintaining social distancing! ➡️ Attackers on the outside of the Yellow square ➡️ D inside the Blue square ➡️ 1 point for passes through the inner square ➡️ Players adapt rules/passes/scoring

What's the point in a coach development pathway if you don't have a path? "We interviewed 10 candidates for the role and they were all highly qualified and impressive... we appointed Brock because of his rugby CV....." An apprentice baker works at his craft for 7 years 🤔
