Went 1 year without a case or screen protector on my iPhone 17 Pro Max with no issues.
Should I do the same with my Duo?
⚠️ WARNING: Things to avoid with your iPhone Duo.
• Don’t rub keys or coins against the inner screen
• Don’t dig your fingernails into the inner screen
• Don’t scrape the titanium frame with a knife
• Don’t rub chainmail armour against the display
• Don’t peel off the screen protector
• Don’t pour dirt into the hinge or ports
• Don’t bury it in the sand
• Don’t force it closed if something is stuck
• Don’t fold it 10,000 times just to see what happens
• Don’t put it in a freezer at -20°C and repeatedly fold it
• Don’t hold a lighter up to the screen
• Don’t sit on it when it’s unfolded
• Don’t bend it backwards
• Don’t twist the phone to test its strength
• Don’t drop it down a flight of stairs
• Don’t run over it with your car
Or if you do, make sure you have AppleCare+ 😆
My honest thoughts after 24 hours with the iPhone Duo:
Pros:
• The bigger screen is amazing
• Multitasking is actually useful
• Watching videos is so much better
• Basically an iPad in my pocket
• Works fine for left-handed use
• Folding it is so satisfying
Cons:
• I already miss Face ID
• The crease is noticeable in bright lighting
• Some apps don’t respond properly to touches
• Apps still need better optimization
• Fingerprints and smudges (night sky)
• Price
Overall I’m still glad I bought it. It’s fun to use even though I paid over $3K to essentially become a beta tester 😅
Cancelled my iPhone Duo online order since I was able to grab one in store.
No reselling here. Someone else can get bumped up in line.
Just charged my iPhone Duo to 100% for the first time.
Why does one battery have 1 cycle count and the other doesn’t?
What X Pro looks like on the iPhone Duo:
You can see 2½ columns side by side when the screen is unfolded.
