What will it take for Rural Youth businesses to grow and what can be scaled?
That was the focus of #RYEF2026, held today on 15th September 2026 the theme “Advancing Rural Youth Enterprise: What Works, What Matters, and What Can Be Scaled.”
The forum brought together rural youth entrepreneurs, government, private sector, financial institutions and development partners to explore practical ways to strengthen youth enterprises.
CRS CEO Callahan highlighted the need for skills, finance, mentorship, markets and stronger support systems.

Hon @jnabdallah called for stronger partnerships to expand opportunities for rural youth, while urging entrepreneurs to uphold integrity, quality and responsible business practices.

At the Rural Youth Enterprise Forum 2026, Minister @jnabdallah emphasized that supporting rural youth businesses requires a holistic and coordinated approach.
He commended particularly the support provided through the Private Service Provider (PSP) model, which connects young entrepreneurs to business coaching, mentorship, digital solutions, finance, markets and business networks.
He reaffirmed MoYA's commitment to working with @CrsRwanda, @CaritasRwanda and other partners to strengthen opportunities for rural youth to create jobs, grow businesses and contribute to national development.
