Why taking profits is good

i think $BATON is one of the best bets in the trenches right now and it’s genuinely surprising how many people still think it’s just another dog coin. pumpfun spent years building the biggest casino in crypto, only to have competitors start eating into their market share. naturally CT decided they were finished, as if the company that built this entire fucking market was just going to roll over and hand everyone else the keys. then custom pairs came along. $BATON was the first token to launch one. now there’s an entire ecosystem developing around a new business model and somehow people are more interested in chasing the 40th derivative than paying attention to where the narrative started. i don’t think being first guarantees anything. but when you have pumpfun’s distribution behind a new product, hundreds of pairs emerging and a coin with a recognizable place in that history, it’s a pretty interesting setup. the funniest part is watching people spend all day looking for the next big ecosystem play while dismissing the one sitting right in front of them. maybe custom pairs become a major part of the trenches. maybe they don’t. but if they do, i think $BATON has a much better story than most of the garbage people are gambling on right now. and i’d rather be early to that than spend another month trying to figure out which cartoon animal some KOL is getting paid to tweet about next.
