one of the easiest policy wins i can imagine for the US is to reform high-skill immigration. the fact that many of the most talented people in the world want to be here is a hard-won gift; embracing them is the key to keeping it that way. hard to get this back if we lose it.

This is from an American I know fighting in Ukraine. It appears @elonmusk isn’t even hiding it anymore. There are competitors to starlink and the US needs to consider funding them. Musks enterprises cannot be sole source anymore, obviously.

Bad news! It appears Starlink service for Ukraine is no longer free, or even supported for the military (we have some ready to go to the front) @elonmusk promised to fund Starlink in Ukraine indefinitely. This will be a major win for 🇷🇺 @StationCDRKelly @AdamKinzinger

At this point I'm almost certain the "Twitter Files" are just a way for Musk to try and prove that news can "break" via tweet threads and boost value to the site. When the reality is that these threads show literally the opposite. Long, drawn out, and with very little new info.

No. This is wrong. There are still FUNDAMENTAL truths. There are still INDISPUTABLE facts. You don’t just get to decide what’s true and what’s not. You can’t “decide” that 2+2=6. You can’t decide that the Holocaust didn’t happen and say that makes it true. This is so dangerous.
