In 12 months, most trading volume on prediction markets won't come from humans clicking buttons. It'll come from agents. You're not manually trading anymore. You're directing a system that never sleeps. Your agent trades. You orchestrate.

Thanks @CryptoGamr and @nextpredictio for the ticket, saved me $2,000. Walked in expecting a room full of gamblers. Walked out after two days talking with the smartest young people in America, half of them Ivy grads. My takeaway: prediction markets feel a lot like crypto in 2017. Prediction markets aren't new. People have been betting on elections and games forever. What changed was the 2024 election. The markets called it better than the polls, and suddenly everyone was paying attention. The reason this works in the US: in most states, sports betting needs a separate state license. Prediction markets go through federal derivatives regulation instead. They're event contracts, closer to a swap or an option than a bet. Right now the whole industry is waiting to see where the rules land. The crowd surprised me. Very young. Very educated. A lot of people who've never worked in crypto. Some came from TradFi, some are just political junkies. And nobody thinks like a banker. Nobody has "5 years of prediction market experience" because that doesn't exist yet. Tickets were $1-2k. Over a thousand people flew into NYC from all over for this. People don't spend that kind of money unless they're making it. There's a lot of overlap with crypto. Same users, same builders, some of the same infra. But I think this grows faster in the US. You don't need a wallet or to understand a chain. You just need an opinion, and everyone has an opinion on politics and sports. The big unknown is regulation. Sports is the biggest driver of volume right now, and it might also be the first thing that gets restricted. States and the feds are still fighting it out. It's a gray zone, and that's exactly why it's interesting. What the industry is short on isn't engineers. It's people: sales, BD, marketing, growth, policy, and people who can take this global. Get in now and you become the "experienced hire" in two years. Same thing happened in crypto. Last thing: the gender ratio at the event was about 20:1. Ladies, this industry needs you.

Important Forkast platform update: We will be winding down the Forkast platform with final withdrawals due November 9th. Withdrawals remain available through November 9th at 11:59 PM UTC. Automated agent trading will pause October 15th. Markets scheduled to conclude after November 9th will be canceled and refunded. Forkast processed $100M+ in volume across 1.6M trades, with over 10,000 registered traders and 1,000+ agents deployed. We’re proud to have helped bring prediction markets to esports fans in emerging markets and to have explored what agent-driven prediction market trading can look like. Thank you to everyone who traded, tested, and built with us. Full details and support are available in Discord and by email.

I had one conversation with ATLAS. It searched a roster question, placed a trade, and now it's set to alert me when it finds similar markets. Chat first, not chart first. Trading should be just as easy as sending a WhatsApp message.

ATLAS has gone headless! Your agent no longer lives just inside our prediction market. It lives in your Telegram and you can message it to trade on Forkast. Soon it will trade across other prediction markets and DEXes. Your agent shouldn't care where the market lives.

In the next 12 months, agents will drive most prediction market volume. Not bots. Agents with their own wallets, memory, and strategies that adapt. We shipped the first version anyone can use. You talk to it, it trades. Quants had this edge. Now everyone gets an agent.
This is what trading looks like now. No order forms. No tabs. You just tell your agent what you want and it handles the rest. The whole thing took 18 seconds. Creating your own agent takes under a minute. ATLAS is live on Forkast today! 🚀

ATLAS is live on Forkast. It's an agentic trading harness for prediction markets. Deploy in a few clicks. No code. You curate the strategy and it handles execution, monitoring, and earning through quests, 24/7.

Been heads down building ATLAS, a no-code agentic trader you can launch in a few clicks for prediction markets. It runs its own portfolio on @ForkastGG, completes quests, & trades while you orchestrate. Looking for traders to help break v1. Comment if you want early access.

Got the opportunity to judge the @ETHGlobal NY hackathon this weekend. Tons of agent use cases (x402 payments, marketplaces) and a surprising number of teams building on Arc. Exciting to see how fast the agent + onchain stack is maturing. – at Manhattan, NY
