On July 1 our AWS account was breached through a misconfigured GitHub Actions OIDC role with admin permissions.
~5.5 hours of access. Two secrets read, two boxes rooted.
We caught it, understood it completely, and rebuilt clean. Wrote up the whole thing, root cause, timeline, IOCs, and the fixes, because this misconfig is everywhere.
