❗️ Andrej Karpathy says Claude built him HackerTube, a YouTube that only recommends videos Hacker News keeps praising, in about 2 hours.
Claude sifted 43M comments from 20 years of Hacker News down to 6,454 videos that people kept recommending.
His only manual work, he says, was a Google API key, a rented server and the domain. He gave Claude the server's IP, told it to secure, harden and deploy the site, and says it did the whole thing.
There are no logins, and each thumbnail is a frame from the middle of the video instead of an A/B-tested upload.

Every action has a motive. Look at some fraudulent exchanges that absconded, P2P platforms, and commercial banks: their ledgers are opaque; once the website is shut down, they simply abscond with the funds, the company is liquidated or goes bankrupt, and all they need to do is give you an arbitrary excuse. As for how much money was actually in the account and where it went, there is no way to know. These kinds of closures happen without any warning—they just disappear. There is no real operation, no one comes out to explain what happened, and it is even less possible for withdrawals to be opened.

‼️ Ubuntu and Red Hat still have no fix for a Linux kernel flaw that Anthropic says its unreleased AI model turned into a remote root exploit.
The bug, CVE-2026-98432, is a use-after-free in the IPv4 TCP handshake, rated 9.8 out of 10.
The exploit needs no credentials and targets servers with a multipath TCP listener, which Go 1.24 and later open by default.
The fix reached stable kernels on 11 October and Debian has shipped it. Ubuntu still marks every release from 16.04 to 26.10 vulnerable.
Red Hat now rates it Critical but has no patched kernel for RHEL 8, 9 or 10.
Anthropic has not released the exploit. By its count, it takes 48 minutes to leak a kernel pointer and five more to run commands as root.

‼️ Someone "leaked" a 14-trillion-parameter Anthropic model on Hugging Face, but it contains weights made by a random number generator, not by training.
A Hugging Face user showed that 43 of its tensors can be regenerated bit for bit from nothing but their own names.
The upload leans on a real codename. "Numbat" is an Anthropic model name exposed in the March Claude Code source leak.
The account was created a week before the upload, and Hugging Face counts 6.8T parameters, not the 14T the uploader claims.
