What if financial data could be used without revealing what’s inside?
That’s the idea behind Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE).
Usually, data needs to be decrypted before it can be processed. FHE allows computations to run on encrypted data, keeping the information private.
@primus_labs lists FHE among the cryptographic technologies behind its approach to data verification and confidential computation.
The data stays encrypted, the computation still gets done. This could open up some interesting possibilities for onchain finance.
A blockchain should be transparent, but does everyone really need to see every financial detail?
Take Proof of Reserves as an example. A crypto exchange needs to prove it holds enough assets to back user funds. But that doesn’t mean exposing every account detail or financial position. This is where privacy and verification have to work together.

Been looking into @primus_labs lately, and the idea behind it is pretty interesting
It’s all about bringing Web2 data on-chain and making it verifiable without giving up your privacy
A few things that stood out to me:
🔸zkTLS verifies data from websites without needing them to integrate with Primus
🔸Prove certain facts without revealing all your personal data
🔸Potential use cases across DeFi, identity, credit scoring and AI agents
Making online data verifiable while keeping it private sounds like a useful step for Web3.
