I am launching a memecoin in December, I will hold ZERO tokens and KOL’s will get ZERO tokens. A fair market. I will make my profit from trading tax.

pumpfun’s $50 referral campaign was actually a lie
the pitch was simple, $50 for you, $50 for every friend you invite who deposits $50. I even posted about it myself, it looked like a good way to get friends into the trenches
but look at what launched at the same time: pump raised its fees to 0.45%, basically the same as fomo (0.5%, 0.45% with a code). the app that sold everyone on 0% fees quietly matched its competitor, and the headline everyone saw was "free $50"
and then there's what happens when you actually use it
i have a friend who's been trying to get into the trenches for months but doesn't have the funds. he saw this and went all in. shared his pump referral everywhere, instagram stories, classmates, coworkers, anyone who'd listen
~80 people signed up in 7 days. 36 of them deposited real money
result? he got banned. every single person he referred got banned. nobody got the $50. not him, not the 36 people who trusted him enough to put their own money in. all real people from his city
no warning, no explanation, no rewards
these weren't bots or farm wallets. they were students and coworkers making their first crypto deposit, the exact "next wave from the masses" pump keeps saying they're building for
and their first experience in crypto was getting banned from the app their friend recommended
you put your name on the line to onboard people you know, and if the platform decides your growth looks too good, you're the one who has to explain to 36 people why their bonus never came
The MOST REWARDING referral program in crypto’s history.
We’re giving away ALL of the Pumpfun App’s revenue via rewards!
- Your referral deposits $50 → both of you get $50 on top
- ~10% reduced fees for your referrals
- Referrers get a limited-time 4x boost

Signing up or depositing alone earns nothing. Per pump.fun’s terms, the reward equals the new user’s first fiat purchase (max $50). It is paid in installments only if they trade on 5 separate days within 10 days; otherwise it’s forfeited. pump.fun/docs/referral-…

you wake up to this green candle on $ANSEM
what’s the first thing you do?
I’ve now gone through @bitcoinhodlco audited FY2026 accounts, and as a shareholder with over 10% of the company, I think it’s time for the board to confront some very uncomfortable numbers.
At 30 June 2026, B HODL had £8.5m in assets, including £7.36m of Bitcoin.
Its entire annual revenue was £34,781. Not profit. Revenue.
Of that, £20,598 came from the CoinCorner Rewards Account. The supposedly value-adding Lightning business generated just £14,183.
That equates to total revenue of approximately 0.47% of the year-end Bitcoin treasury, with Lightning contributing only 0.19%.
For perspective, US 13-week Treasury bills currently yield 4.15%. That’s nearly nine times the total revenue ratio and over 21 times the Lightning component when measured against the full Bitcoin treasury. Not a like-for-like investment comparison, but an extraordinary illustration of how little income this business has generated.
Meanwhile, B HODL’s own stated operating costs are approximately £46,000 per month, or £550,000 annually. Almost sixteen times its reported annual revenue.
The accounts also disclose £93,000 in administrative support charges to CoinCorner, plus approximately £11,000 in financing and direct costs. CoinCorner is a significant shareholder with representatives on the board.
The charges involving CoinCorner alone were nearly three times the company’s entire revenue.
The company can point to more encouraging unaudited weekly Lightning yields since the year end, but a handful of weekly results on a small fraction of the treasury is not proof of sustainable economics.
I recognise that Lightning launched in May. But shareholders are entitled to question whether this structure will ever produce sufficient returns to justify its costs.
The underlying Bitcoin is liquid. The shares are not.
In my opinion, this business model has not worked financially to date, and shareholders should not be expected to continue funding an expensive listed-company structure indefinitely.
I believe the board should put an orderly winding-up and return-of-capital proposal to shareholders. Settle the liabilities, realise or distribute the residual Bitcoin value, and return it to shareholders.
And remarkably, while we are challenging the conditions imposed on our request to inspect the company’s books, the board is now proposing to narrow shareholder inspection rights under Article 141.
No amount of glossy investor presentations changes the arithmetic.
This isn’t compounding Bitcoin for shareholders. It’s compounding overhead.
It’s time to face reality. @freddienew
