The irony of #MunsterRugby hiring an Attack Coach with a history of violence against women #VAWG Hugely offensive to female players & fans. Respect to those with principles who've resigned. Planned to attend #MUNvULS but will be boycotting future games if #RogerRandle is in post

The politicians being protected is obviously the priority but there's something wrong about all the women being left to fend for themselves crawling out on their knees. I'd hope my husband would also prioritise the safety of the mother of his children (protocol be damned!) #Trump
President Trump and Vice President JD Vance were rushed off the stage after shots were fired at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

The charges were dropped in the #RogerRandle case but the allegations were not. The victim was too traumatised to go to court but police believed the case warrented a conviction. There was physical & DNA evidence of the assault #MunsterRugby #BelieveWomen shorturl.at/RHgyj

Listening to the Kerry CAMHS whistleblower on Drivetime was deeply disturbing.
Once again, we hear of serious concerns being raised, vulnerable patients put at risk, and the person who spoke up left isolated instead of supported.
This is the reality too many whistleblowers face in Ireland:
raise concerns, be sidelined, and watch the system move far too slowly.
Whistleblowers should not have to sacrifice their careers and wellbeing to protect others.

20. I worry constantly for the future but we take life one day at a time. It's the only way we get through it. Our government & health service may turn their back on our precious son but we never will. He is mo chroí ❤️ and I would walk through fire for him 🔥 #AutismAwarenessDay

19. I've told you our journey which hasn't been easy. But every family in the country with an #autism diagnosis has a similar story. Ironically for a #neurodiverse family we might even be typical. Why does our society continue to fail our most vulnerable citizens? #CareCantWait

18. Internationally healthcare and education are considered basic human rights. So how is it possible that in #Ireland a high-income developed country we have to fight every inch for these basic human rights for our children? We are exhausted. We deserve better. #DisabilityRights

6. An aside - as a #PublicHealth professional I believe in #UniversalHealthcare but as a mother I feel there is something very wrong with a health system that provides free medical care to healthy children when services for sick & disabled children are non-existent #CareCantWait

3. When you first notice the little differences about your child fear claws at your heart. Our first concerns were about speech development. Our suspicions were confirmed by a letter from our creche highlighting other issues. I cried frightened tears reading it with my husband
1. Health services for children with disabilities are almost non-existent in modern Ireland. The speech and language (SLT) assessment is just the first step. My non-speaking #autistic 6yo son has received 4 SLT appts in 4 years from our Children's Disability Network Team #CDNT
The number of children waiting over two years for an initial speech and language therapy assessment has risen by 149% in the space of 11 months.
In February, 1,245 children were awaiting an initial assessment for 24 months or more, up from 501 in March 2025.
Figures provided to Social Democrats TD for Cork South Central and chairman of the Oireachtas health committee Pádraig Rice confirmed that 36,428 children across the State were awaiting a speech and language therapy appointment of some description in February.

5. Children with disabilities have no voices and no vote. Most families like ours are so worn out from providing daily care and beaten down by the system that we have no time or energy left to advocate for change. So we are invisible... #DisabilityRights #CareCantWait #SameChance
#WorldAutismMonth and in light of today's disclosures on the lack of Speech and Language #SLT services in Ireland I'm resharing this thread about our experiences accessing health services for our children #CareCantWait #SameChance #Autism #CDNT #HSE #DisabilityRights #Carers
1. I posted this a few weeks ago and was overwhelmed by the response. It was a very special moment ❤️ But there are many difficult moments. Today on #WorldAutismDay I want to highlight the lack of public services for children with disabilities in Ireland #DisabilityRights #Autism
