me when I hate jokes about the soldier being so incompetent he tells the party that he wont tell them about the thing he's not supposed to tell them. (this is humor).

as I've said many times before, if there are optional/cost associated skills that are essential for every character, don't make them optional or cost associated. The two from FF:R that come to mind are arms akimbo and damage cap. Every character needs to have these on at all times. Theyre just a tax for having good characters, which is poor design. (That's not to say the whole game is badly designed, just these two skills being cost-associated instead of unlockable upgrades).
Everyone agrees then that Firion is by far the most important and by extension arguably the best vision in FF resonance right? Arms Akimbo is necessary for pretty much every build. Even better than Terra and her break the limit

i imagine its just a bunch of arms akimbo + multicast + mimic chaining. Not really groundbreaking, you can do this type of thing in ff7 as well.

Twitter user discovers that cartoon-antics work in cartoons and don't work in realistic 3d in real time.

my only complaint with it is that the shallow depth of field makes it look like a bunch of toys on a table and not a real world.

how many posts has this user made claiming people who call LLMs "stochastic parrots" are themselves repeating claims from elsewhere or are otherwise lacking in understanding of what an LLM is. That's what "a variant of" means, idiot.

@grok how many times has @ai_sentience made a variant of this post/claim?

I'm starting to believe that people who say that "humans think by doing next token prediction, just like LLMs" are self-reporting.

I mean, if you are capable of thinking you should be capable of considering how you think about things. Do you think one single word at a time based only on the previous words that you've already thought, or do you think about the concept you want to convey, then translate that into language?

no, it isnt. the standard is to resolve terms independently. Because the 2 isn't separated by an operator from the parenthesis, you treat that entire block as a single expression and solve it in isolation. this is well known convention.

Yeah, not super great when OAI's big model is barely keeping up with Anthropic's mid-tier.

On a $500/mo Codex plan, this is unacceptable.

you should ask him what the hard times were and how he, personally, turned them into easy times

it's wild how I'm constantly ~6 months ahead of the curve on this stuff. cursivecrow.github.io/autoof…
This is f*cking insane. SpaceXAI engineer Lauren Tan: "You can't run 100 GrokBot agents when you don't even trust the work of one If nothing checks your agents for you, you are the checker. You're the bottleneck" In this 1-hour talk, she shows how she went from rereading every answer by hand to a GrokBot team that checks its own work and ships 50+ updates a day GrokBot → Agents → Self-Checks → Trusted Team → Work That Ships Itself Trusting your agents isn't a feeling. It's a system you build once Most people spend longer checking their AI than it would take to do the job themselves Worth more than any $2,000 agentic engineering course Bookmark it and watch tonight Then read how to build agents you can actually trust in the harness engineering guide below ↓
