Delighted to have two pieces in the new edition of the venerable @Groundtastic magazine. First are some notes from a small island with a tour around the Isle of Man and then uncovering the history behind the East End gem that is Lyle Park, home to @JKSILVERTOWNFC & @CustomHouseFC

Another @PeterRMiles offering in GT93 is a 4-page look at a hidden gem of a ground in London's East End - Lyle Park. In place since 1924, the park has a rich history and still hosts the games of @JKSILVERTOWNFC and @CustomHouseFC.

It took many messages going backwards and forwards and a few meetings but all details have been worked out and for the 2018/19 Season @ChfcUtd will start there first season playing in @EssexAllianceFL (3/3)
Custom House Football Club & Custom House Community Football Club (Saturday Side ONLY) have been working out a merge and now it's been made official, they will merge to make Custom House United bringing the ideas of 2 sides together to make one bigger club going forward (2/3)
We have been a club for 8 years and we have had great times and few we won a couple things as well in IDFL & @EssexAllianceFL But like many grassroots clubs we have come to the a crossroad where a lot of hard decisions had to be made. (1/3)
Some news to come about the club soon.... Big news and a big step forward as a whole for the project of Football Grassroots level in Newham

Would just like to say a big thank you to everyone at the @EssexAllianceFL for all their hard work over the 2017/2018 season. The likes of @barryfitz58 @LeeBowers18 Rob Parker, Terry Alder, Alan Spike and everyone else give up so much time to help all clubs. Hats off to you 👏

As we approach the summer, spare a thought for the tireless volunteers who keep Non-League, Grassroots & Youth football going. They give up their own time & never get the recognition they deserve. They are the backbone of our clubs & the game in general. Thank you to all of you!
Ops hope I haven't jinx Hudderfield Town sorry guys 1-1 now....... still only a point need let's send Swansea City down lol.
Custom House in look out for a new home as Newham have taken parking away sadly let's just hope we can stay within Newham (E16) as that's the area we are #CustomHouse #SaveGrassRootsFootball
