DoA6LR achievements all done. 101 ranked matches (I did a rematch at the end because I’m not a dick) stuck playing Kasumi, dealing with graphical glitches, terrible connections, and so many crashes. Uninstalled. Torture complete.
Booted up Core Fighters for some free achievements and the sheer amount of weird graphical bugs, including on the main menu right at boot and during fights, and a crash to dashboard while just navigating a menu…just incredible.
Nope. Nah. $40 for the exact same game with one lighting change and the privilege of paying for more characters at a higher cost eventually? No. I have limits as a fan. This is an egregious price gouge.
Team NINJA this is wildly disappointing. You’re charging $50 for an update that asks people to commit to what I can only imagine is at least $10 each for the licenses and ‘debut’ costumes for characters that were already in the game. That’s more than the original cost.
Heading back to Japan again next month and am really looking forward to it. This has been a rough year in a lot of ways and I can’t think of anywhere better to reset and recharge for another year.
Finished Ninja Gaiden 4. What a great action game but EASILY my least favorite mainline Ninja Gaiden. I have too many little issues with it to list and I don’t want to nitpick what is otherwise a fantastic game. I just wish it was Team NINJA who made it.
First impressions: definitely a Platinum game first and foremost. Backlash counter feels bad and I can’t figure out why just yet. No weight to anything so far. Graphical style feels off putting. But there is definitely something great here. Need to play more.
Not sure if I really want to grab the deluxe for NG4 tomorrow. Feels bad to pay for it almost entirely for Ryu’s real outfit.
